Education & performance experience
A native of Ukraine (former Soviet Union), pianist Yevgeny Morozov holds degrees from
Yale University, Mannes College The New School For Music in NYC and
Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama (now the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland).
Yevgeny has studied, participated in masterclasses or taken lessons with some of
the most prestigious piano teachers of our times including: John O'Conor (Ireland),
John Lill (U.K.), Philip Jenkins (U.K.), Boris Berezovsky (Russia), Eugene Injic (USA/France), Boris Berman (USA),
Claude Frank (USA), Peter Frankl (USA), Arie Vardi (Israel), Jacob Lateiner (USA) and Susan Starr (USA).
An active performer, Yevgeny Morozov has appeared as a soloist and chamber musician in numerous
festivals and recitals series in the Europe and the U.S.
Among them Prokofiev's Music Festival in Moscow, Middle European Festival of Concert Art in Slovakia, International Keyboard Institute & Festivals in NYC, Sarasota Music Festival in Florida.
Yevgeny Morozov has performed with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine, Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra, Royal Scottish Academy Symphony Orchestra,
Odessa Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, Kharkov Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra among others. His more recent appearances include Franz Liszt 200th Anniversary Gala Concert
at Carnegie's Weill Recital Hall, Carnegie Hall's Piano/Violin recital with Heeguen Song, Prokofiev's Third Piano Concerto with the Rutgers Symphony Orchestra.
His performances were broadcasted live on WQXR - New York's Classical Music Radio Station,
the Slovak Radio in Zilina, Slovak TV in Bratislava, Ukrainian State
Television Company in Kharkov, Ukrainian National TV Company in Kiev.
Piano Teaching, Coaching
As a experienced concert pianist and piano instructor, Yevgeny coaches for recitals, trains and advises for competitions and music college entries. At present Yevgeny Morozov is a piano faculty member
at the Mason Gross School of the Arts Extension Division in Rutgers University. He teaches also privately, prepares students for the RCM, ABRSM and Carnegie Hall Royal Conservatory Achievement Program exams, gives master classes, held lectures and adjudicates.
